USTC IonQNet Group

USTC IonQNet Group is the trapped-ion quantum information group at the University of Science and Technology of China.

Our research builds on the long coherence times and high-fidelity quantum control of trapped ions. We study quantum logic gates and phonon control driven by tightly focused light, develop microcavity-based photonic interfaces that combine high efficiency with high bandwidth, and build hybrid quantum networks connecting different physical systems.

Our goal is to bring quantum networks and distributed quantum computing into practical use.
