The study proposes a photolithography and electroplating method to deposit a metal shield on fiber-cavity mirrors, maximizing shielding while preserving optical transmission. This technique significantly suppresses dielectric-induced heating and surface charging, enabling stable trapped-ion operation within fiber Fabry–Pérot cavities.
