Introduction:

I received my bachelor’s degree from Dalian University of Technology (DUT). During a summer visit to USTC, I became interested in trapping single ions and manipulating their quantum states with lasers, and subsequently joined the ion-trap group as a PhD student. My doctoral research focused on developing ion traps for confining multiple ions and addressing them individually.

In 2017.11 to 2018.11, I visited Jonathan’s ion trap group (TIQI) at ETH, Zurich as an academic guest.
