Research Experience

Main research experience is in quantum optics and quantum information based on optical cavity, especially the nonlinear progress in the optical cavity.

Research Interests

Although my main work in my research career is focused on the generation of narrow band photon pair source, I have lots of interests in trapped ion, neutral atom, cavity QED, rare earth-doped quantum memory and nonlinear progress in the crystal or waveguide et al, especially interfacing them with flying photonic qubit. To combine the advantages of different physical system, a hybrid quantum network combined with diversities of physical system should be built. Considering the mismatched working wavelength, it’s of great importance to research the highly efficient and confidential quantum interface between them.
