Quantum Coherence

    Coherence plays an essential role in quantum mechanics.It can be obtained and observed directly in more and more physical systems,particularly in quantum optical systems. How to obtain the coherence and utilize it in quantum communication and quantum computation is one research subject of our group.

 

Quantum Entanglement

    Entanglement is one of the most fascinating features of quantum theory that has puzzled generations of physicists. It was realized that entanglement is an essential resource in quantum information and acts as an important role in other physical phenomenon.Therefore, detection and quantification of entanglement became fundamental problems in quantum information theory.
