报告题目： Storage of single photons with high efficiency

报告摘要： Storage of single photons is essential for the development of many devices in quantum information processing, including a mechanism to convert heralded photons to on-demand photons, a synchronization tool to match various processes within a quantum computer, and a repeater to implement long-distance quantum communication. In this talk, I will present our recent work on storing of single photons in high optical depth cold atomic ensemble through electromagnetically induced transparency with high efficiency.
