报告题目: Finite-power performance of microscopic heat engines
报告摘要: Microscopic heat engines play a good platform for understanding the thermodynamics and statistical properties of small systems in which the fluctuations and (at low temperatures) quantum effects are considerable. I will introduce our recent search works on the issue of performance of microscopic heat engines running at finite power, within the framework of finite-time and irreversible thermodynamics. We will discuss the universal properties of efficiency at maximum power of quantum heat engines working with spin-1/2 or harmonic systems, and we show that some engine models in certain conditions can enable the attainment of Carnot efficiency at finite power.
