报告题目：On non-Markovian quantum dynamics and complex networks
NonMarkovian open quantum systems, which display memory effects, have become under very active research during the recent years. This covers both fundamental aspects, such as how to define and quantify the amount of memory effects, and also applications e.g. to quantum information tasks. We give a brief overview about the progress on nonMarkovianity including the aspects of using information flow to quantify memory effects and how to exploit nonlocal memory effects for specific quantum information tasks. On the other hand, the use of networks is becoming increasingly popular within quantum physics. Conventionally this has covered the field of quantum information and communication. Here we take slightly different perspective and consider the problematics of incorporating and generalizeing the concepts and tools from classical complex networks into the quantum domain. In particular, we show how the construction of complex networks of quantum harmonic oscillators allows to develop efficient tools for resevoir engineering of open systems and also how to develop quantum probes for complex quantum networks.
